Revealed: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's first holiday meal as newly-weds on Irish 'mini-moon'
The private fridge of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry was packed with ten cans of Guinness to help them celebrate their mini-moon and first trip abroad as a married couple in Ireland last year, it has emerged.
Starters were a choice of Macroom ricotta, Mozzarella and Cashel Blue Terrine with torched fig, semi-dried heirloom tomato and walnut crisp or Kenmare cured salmon, dehydrated caper, crispy quinoa, beetroot pearls and buttermilk foam. That was on display again during the first morning of their trip, when the honeymooners’ breakfast menu included the “full Irish” - locally-sourced McCarrons dry cured bacon, Gahan’s grilled sausage, Tournafulla black and white pudding, grilled tomato, free range scrambled eggs and Portobello mushrooms.
Homemade freshly baked bread and farmhouse butters, Keeling orange juice and freshly brewed tea and coffee were served with it.
