Family syndicate who won €175m Euromillions jackpot 'partied into the night' in secret bash after collecting monster cheque
The family syndicate who scooped Ireland’s biggest ever EuroMillions jackpot partied into the night after collecting their monster cheque, the Irish Sunday Mirror can reveal.
A close family friend told the Irish Sunday Mirror: “Once they had confirmation the money was in from the other eight countries they travelled into the city centre on Thursday. “They left by the back door and ended up in a pub in Duleek in Co Louth to continue the celebrations into the night.” “I’m mad into cycling, that’s the only thing I’m thinking about. A push bike. You’d pay €14,000 or €15,000 no problem. We have our own charities we’ll be looking into.National Lottery spokeswoman Miriam Donohoe would not go into details about Thursday’s reception other than to confirm the money had been collected.
