The seizure was made on Friday as a result of risk profiling and with the assistance of detector dog Guss after examining the parcels at the busy port

Revenue seized hundreds of kilos of chewing tobacco worth hundreds of thousands of euros stashed in parcels at Dublin Port .

The illicit tobacco had arrived via consignments originating from Belgium which were intended for an address in Dublin.
