James Gillespie and his brother Barry are missing, presumed dead.
A £10,000 reward put up to help two dangerous Lanarkshire gangsters has been withdrawn amid fears they have been executed by Brazilian drug dealers.
Charity Crimestoppers has confirmed the reward is no longer on offer "unless renewed at the request of the investigating police force". A year on from the news they were missing presumed dead, their families and police officers are still searching for answers on exactly what happened. Police Scotland insists officers are still trying hard to track them down and anyone with information must come forward.
"It's even tougher now because everyone is looking forward to Christmas and spending time with their families, but they're still searching for answers. Police revealed they have links to Spain, Tenerife and Portugal and they were linked to the biggest ever cocaine haul recovered by French police.
