IRELAND’S RHASIDAT Adeleke claimed first place in the 400m at the Diamond League meet in Monaco on Friday.
“I was running a bit scared because I was on the outside of my main competitors. But I just wanted to make sure I executed my plan for where I was in the race and I think I did that. When asked if the 400m was her main event now, she agreed but added that she feels she has “unfinished business” in the 100m and 200m. She also said that her next appearance will be the London Diamond League at the end of this month.
