Suburban Dallas communities are all on board with transit-oriented development.surrounding a new commuter rail station.
Richardson officials have hired commercial property firm Cushman & Wakefield to request proposals from developers to build on the site on North Greenville Avenue near Arapaho Road. Richardson wants a “master developer” to oversee building on the Greenville Avenue site near DART’s Arapaho Road rail station.
“That is why we have been thoughtfully, actively preparing the site over the past five years, working closely with property owners and nearby stakeholders while removing barriers for the development community,” he said. “We cannot wait to hear from master developers who can help us fully realize our ambitions.”An additional 24-acre property next to the DART station could also be included in the plans.
