The work will be carried out on Saturday and Sunday, June 22 and 23.
The stretch of Campbell Street from its junction with Chapel Street to, and including, its junction with Cadzow Lane will undergo resurfacing work.
Colin Park, South Lanarkshire Council’s Head of Roads, Transportation and Fleet Services, said: “Unfortunately, the road is not wide enough to let us safely maintain access for vehicles while the resurfacing is being undertaken, which is why we will try to minimise disruption by carrying out the work over a weekend, and reopening the road overnight.
