A road has closed due to emergency repair works in a popular village.
Hertfordshire County Council announced that Heronsgate Road at the junction with Dove Park in Chorleywood is under a “24/7 road closure”.
According to One Network the road will be closed until September 6 for Affinity Water to carry out utility repair and maintenance works.The red dots show what part of Heronsgate Road will be closed according to Google Maps. In a message from Affinity Water via the One Network website, it said: “We are currently carrying out essential maintenance in your area, this is on-going work to improve our service to you – usually there will be little disruption to road users during these types of works which can include stop tap replacements, meter fits, leak detection and fixes among others.”
