A Ferrari bought by Robbie Savage after netting a brace of goals during Blackburn Rovers' 2006 UEFA cup campaign is to go under the hammer - and is expected to smash its guide price.
Former Man Utd and ex Wales international Savage purchased the car over 15 years ago as a celebration following his brace of goals during Blackburn Rover's UEFA cup campaign that year. H&H experts describe the 25,000-mile supercar as driving “extremely well” and having recently undergone professional detailing.
The Guinness family is an extensive Irish family is known for producing the dry stout Guinness Beer - as well as their involvement in a variety of other industries and sectors. They're auctioning a five car family collection at the event. The centrepiece of the Guinness car collection is an exquisite 1928 Rolls-Royce Phantom I Shooting Brake - once owned by the Rt Hon Alan Clark MP. The elegant and timeless vehicle embodies the spirit of the golden era of motoring, and has undoubtedly seen some interesting trips and carried some fascinating characters.
