Dawn of the Planet of the Apes director Matt Reeves has confirmed that his film The Batman has begun shooting.
The clapper in the shot displays what could be a new logo for the film and is seated on a brown leather armchair. Also starring in the new outing is Andy Serkis as Batman's loyal butler Alfred Pennyworth and John Turturro as crime boss Carmine Falcone. Filming will take place in the UK with scenes shot in London, while Gotham City is believed to be primarily portrayed by the Scottish city of Glasgow.
