The Saints manager was delighted to see Keanu Baccus remain with the club after late interest from Aberdeen.
Stephen Robinson praised the St Mirren board for staying strong and holding on to the club’s key assets.
And St Mirren manager Robinson believes that resolve will pay off in the long run when the club look to pick up where they left off after the international break, having fired their way towards the top end of the Premiership table. While the Saints players not involved in international duty this weekend will be given some down time, Robinson insists it’ll be straight back to the daily grind once the break is over.
He said: “To go unbeaten at this stage of the season, it’s eight unbeaten now, then it’s credit to the players.
