There are times where I hear from his kids, my nephews and it upsets me." Ronan said, speaking to Nicky Byrne on his podcast. The Boyzone singer shared where he is with his grief, and added that his family are struggling to cope with the loss: "They're not doing well. They're struggling. They have lost their main man. He was incredibly important to all of them and it's just devastating. Every day." Speaking on his relationship with his brother, he shared how close they were, working closely together in the days of Boyzone before Ciaran decided to move away from the entertainment world and enjoy the peace of the west of Ireland. "Ciaran moved to the west. Him and I were very close. He was my eldest brother. In the early years of Boyzone, he was very involved. He looked after the Carter twins. They toured with us," Ronan said. "So Ciaran was on the road with me a lot. But then after a few years, he decided he wanted to get away from all of that so he moved to the west coast of Ireland and he made a life for him and his family there." Ronan candidly expressed that the loss has made him consider his own mortality, saying: "It's been very difficult. It's been very hard to deal with...it's the mortality." "It could be me, I could be next. When does this end? You start to feel.. I've lost all these great people in my life. I don't think I can take anymore. I don't think I can.""I've spent a lot of time in therapy. It does at times. For lots of different things." "For the career that I've had, for the crap I've been through and also something that chips away at you, unless you go through it and nobody understands, is the media. You're the person to be attacked. "And over the years there have been times when certain people have had a go. Some of those things hurt and that can be tough. So therapy helps." Ronan has previously advised everyone to reach out to their loved ones today and not to make the assumption that there will always be more time. "Call your sibling, your parent, your child, your loved one. Don’t put it off don’t think they will be there tomorrow. Because they may not," he said, in a previous tribute post to his brother.
