Ronan O'Gara apologised if his language was 'off' after being confronted by angry Bath fans following La Rochelle's win over the English side.

"I was in my bubble, so if my language was off, I apologise. Sometimes you lose some control, but that was a tame night for me! I’m pretty happy. ‘We showed great character and resilience. The better team won." They roared clear through tries from flanker Oscar Jegou, prop Reda Wardi and scrum-half Tawera Kerr-Barlow, while fly-half Ihaia West kicked three conversions and a later penalty.
