Wayne Rooney's son emulates his dad with winner in Man United's cup final against their rivals MUFC
Kai Rooney, son of Manchester United legend Wayne, has followed in his dad’s shoes by scoring against rivals Manchester City.
The oldest son of the Rooney family netted the winner against the Sky Blues in the U13 National Cup North final.The 13-year-old joined his teammates in posing for photographs after the win Man United secured a 2-0 victory over their City rivals, with Kai and JJ Gabriel on target to set up a clash against Arsenal in the national final.
Kai later took to Instagram, after posing for pictures with his medal and the trophy alongside his teammates.Last year saw Kai break the U12 goalscoring record, netting 56 goals, while bagging 28 assists.The 13-year-old joined Man United’s academy in 2020,
