McIlroy shot an impressive five-under-par during opening round of Scottish Open defence
Rory McIlroy produced a sensational start in the Genesis Scottish Open and is only one shot off the lead as he bids to defend his championship this weekend.

McIlroy's wife Erica Stoll was in attendance on Thursday to watch the golfer shoot his way up the leaderboard. The pair had filed for divorce back in May citing that their marriage was 'irretrievably broken', but have since reconciled.
