Rory McIlroy took home a cheque for €3.7million after finishing fourth at the Tour Championship over the weekend.
McIlroy will now look ahead to the Irish Open, which takes place at the K Club from September 7-11, and BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth ahead of the Ryder Cup. as Norway’s Viktor Hovland held off a determined challenge from Xander Schauffele to claim the FedEx Cup title and €16.6million in prize money.
