Rosanna Davison has been left heartbroken after her beloved dog, Ted, passed away following his cancer diagnosis.
She shared several snaps of her dog on social media to share the sad news.“He was in quite a lot of distress last night so @wesquirke brought him to the emergency vet where he was given pain meds and we were told it was a matter of days.“He passed peacefully this afternoon in his fave spot in the sunshine. He came to us as a tiny furball in 2011 and he gave us so much fun, love and cuddles. He was our baby during our years of trying to have a family, we’re going to miss him so much.
“Aw Rosie I am so so sorry. Ted is the reason we rescued a Pom. Slipper is my 4th child. Your furry babies had the best life, remember that,” Lorraine Keane commented.Erica Cody added: “Sending so much love.” Rosanna and her husband Wes Quirke first brought Ted into their home back in 2011. And he has been a vital part of their family for over a decade.
“Ted gave us endless amounts of love and comfort when we were trying to have a baby,” Rosanna wrote on her Instagram Story. “Big hugs to anyone going through similar, pets play such an important role in your life. It’s tough to say goodbye.”
