An informal open evening was held at a market for anyone to attend to find out more about a group’s entry into the National Britain in Bloom competition.
She also talked about what an honour it is for Rawtenstall to be picked as the North West representative in the competition and how we all need to work as a community to make sure Rawtenstall looks its best for the summer and especially the judging days.Janet Allcock, publicity officer, and Ryan Godwin the owner of Holme Manor Care Home then announced the Launching of the children’s colouring and design competition that will take place during June.
The winning pictures and other pictures will be displayed in the window of Just Beautiful Kitchens on Bury Road and around the town, from July 15 ready for the Britain in Bloom judging day. She asked that windows are decorated from the beginning of July with judging of the competition on July 14. Sue Shuttleworth the chair of CPR then provided more details of the entry for the North West and National competition.
