The Lions’ offence, which had piled up massive numbers in the early going with Rourke at the controls, lost receiver Bryan Burnham in a Sept. 24 game vs. the Calgary Stampeders and receiver Lucky Whitehead missed last week’s 23-20 road loss to the Toronto Argonauts.Article content Whitehead didn’t practise Tuesday and his status or Saturday’s home game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers is unclear. B.C. is at the Edmonton Elks on Oct. 21 before wrapping up the regular season in Winnipeg on Oct. 28.
