On the latest episode of Stick to Football, regular pundits Keane, Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher and Ian Wright debated the greatest managers in the league's history, and it predictably caused a lot of debate
Roy Keane believes Pep Guardiola is the greatest manager in Premier League history - and he can't understand why his former Manchester United teammates continue to call Sir Alex Ferguson "boss".
“What Pep has done, in not even a short period of time, you can’t deny that if someone put Pep top , I wouldn’t say you’re out of order, I’d just say Sir Alex," Neville said on the Stick to Football podcast, sponsored by Sky Bet. The question was then put to Keane, who famously fell out with Ferguson after the Corkman's departure from United.
"Why do you call him boss?" Keane asked. "He was your manager of a football club, his contract was with the club and your contract was with the club, why do you call someone boss? Do you call anyone else boss, besides your wife?" Neville, though, was quick to admit that he could see why many people would rank Guardiola ahead of Ferguson.
