For the next six weeks under Level 5 restrictions, the RSA is asking people to cancel their driving test appointments if they are not an essential worker.

The Road Safety Authority has asked people not to attend driving tests for the next six weeks under Level 5 restrictions if they are not an essential worker.

The Agency is asking anyone who is not in this category but has an appointment within the next six weeks to cancel their test online so the test can be given to an essential worker. Essential workers are permitted to travel to driving tests under Level 5 restrictions but are advised to bring proof of appointment in case they are questioned by gardaí.

National Car Tests and Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness Tests are deemed essential services and will be continuing under Level 5.
