Former Late Late Show presenter, Ryan Tubridy, was paid hundreds of thousands more than RTÉ previously stated.
Ryan Tubridy's full RTÉ earnings have been revealed by the national broadcaster today, as an investigation into its finances found that the presenter was paid much more than the broadcaster initially declared.
In a statement released this afternoon, RTÉ said that in late March of this year, during a routine audit of RTÉ’s 2022 accounts, an issue was identified in relation to the transparency of certain payments made to former LateLate Show presenter presenter Ryan Tubridy. The review found that under a separate agreement, Mr Tubridy was to receive an additional annual income of €75,000, which was supposed to come from a commercial partner. RTÉ guaranteed and underwrote this fee.
