Hugh Wallace, Amanda Bone, and Sara Cosgrave judged three stunning homes on this week's episode but one was subject of debate

RTÉ Home of the Year judges Amanda and Hugh were at odds with each other when it came to a bright and colourful home on Tuesday night’s episode.

Olivia and Peter built their Louth house in 2004, using tonnes of colour to create an eclectic and warm family home, full of textures, warm wallpapers, patterns, and paintings, that were brimming with individuality. Amanda in contrast said: “It’s certainly colorful and it's most definitely crowded. I don’t feel like I have walked into an entrance, I feel like I have walked straight into a den-type room that you’d find more deep into the heart of the home.”

Hugh then chimed in: “Oh, I don’t agree Amanda, I don’t think it is either, I think it is called a family home and I think if I was a kid in here, I would be like a pig in poo.”
