There was a heated debate over the lead the winning horse was allowed build up in the race
RTE presenter Hugh Cahill and former jockeys Davy Russell , Andy McNamara and Jane Mangan clashed in a heated debate following Solness' victory in the Ladbrokes Dublin Chase on Sunday.
Expanding on the debate on AK Bets' The Racing Room podcast, Cahill said: "I'm not there to be a horse racing expert, I'm there as the 'mug punter', as Ted Walsh called me. That's literally my role." Joseph O’Brien’s charge was a shock 28-1 winner at Grade One level over the festive period, beating the reopposing pair of Gaelic Warrior and Marine Nationale.
