Broadcaster Jonathan McCrea has been left distraught after his home was burged and his wife Dara's jewellery was stolen.
He added later: "This necklace was also stolen, earrings too. Antique and reasonably valuable compared to the rest of the stuff. Just in case you come across it somewhere? Would be great to get it back and sometimes Twitter performs miracles, you know?" Dozens of Jonathan's followers have flooded the comments, offering support and advice following the incident.
