RTE Radio to ban Michael Jackson's songs in wake of child sex abuse allegations in Leaving Neverland documentary
RTE radio has confirmed it will stop playing Michael Jackson’s music on its airwaves in the wake of explosive child sexual abuse allegations.
The national broadcaster confirmed it will not be playing Jackson’s music “at this time” - but did not confirm if the ban is permanent. The Channel 4 show features interviews with Wade Robson and James Safechuck, former child companions of Jackson who claim they were sexually abused by him. RTE’s Ryan Tubridy said he was unlikely to ever play the pop icon’s music again on his Radio One show.
