We can't wait to tune in

RTÉ sent five well-known faces to the wilds of Donegal to practice their cúpla focail!

Broadcaster Des Cahill, writer Amanda Brunker, comedian Fred Cooke, Mayo footballer Oisín Mullin and Tiktok star Lauren Whelan each spent one week living with a Bean an Tí in the Gaeltacht. When it comes to the end of the week they will be tested to see if they will become Réaltaí na Gaeltachta? Under the watchful eye of Bean an Tí Caitlín Nóra Frainc, Des, Fred, and Oisín share a room in the boys’ house. Meanwhile, in the girls’ house, Amanda and Lauren are right at home with Bean an tí Maighread Mhic Grianna and her granddaughter Aisling.

They’ll be schooled by Múinteoir Niall Ó Sluain as well as being helped by a host of local faces! The five students will immerse themselves in the true Irish college experience. Tune in to the new series of Réaltaí na Gaeltachta on Tuesday 28th February, 7.00pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
