RTE viewers have been praising one woman after she spoke out about her experience in a Mother and Baby home on Upfront with Katie Hannon.

Speaking on Monday evening’s show, Ms Shiels said: “I go myself, I pay myself to go to a psychotherapist every week because I want to. Choking back tears, she went on to say: One person wrote: “Well done to this great woman and Well done Fianna Fail Fine Gael and the greens hang your heads in nothing but shame. You are shameful”.
