After taking on three other families, The Happy Pear brothers, David and Stephen Flynn, took home €10,000 for their chosen charity.
They were up against Grainne Gallanagh and her family who competed for Alone Donegal, Neil Delamore and his team who chose The Alzheimer Society of Ireland and Sinead Quinlan and her charity Cork Simon Community. However, there were some viewers who weren’t pleased that David and Stephen won the prize for a charity focused on preserving Ireland’s ecosystems.
However, there were many others delighted to see the brothers win alongside their coach Donnacha O’Callaghan.With another viewer saying: “Well done the vegans!”. It was a jam-packed show with the four teams taking on two rounds of challenges which involved them pushing through boglands and swamps.
