It got them talking! Full story:
Home of the Year returned to RTE last night, as judges Hugh Wallace, Amanda Bone and Sara Cosgrove stopped by three stunning homes.
However, many viewers were taken by the second property, a renovated old thatched cottage in Armagh, owned by Niall McGuire. While Hugh was fond of the property, scoring it a whopping ten out of ten, Sara and Amanda weren't as enthusiastic, each giving Niall's idyllic Irish home a seven."Two 7's?! Jesus wept! Tough crowd. #homeoftheyear," one viewer wrote on Twitter,."Loved the warm homely feel but maybe it’s a bit too twee," another viewer said.
"She [Amanda] summed it up perfectly about too many design threads that don't tie together. That was exactly the problem," another wrote.
