From Theresa Mannion’s iconic 2015 Storm Desmond broadcast to viewers getting to watch Aengus Mac Grianna put on powder, now there’s another funny RTE blunder
RTE is known for some of Ireland’s most iconic memes, including Theresa Mannion’s iconic 2015 Storm Desmond broadcast to the infamous man falling on the ice.
Turning to the cameras, he explained that the screen was stuck and he would just have to chat through the rest of the broadcast. “Friday and Saturday will be dry as high pressure builds over the country. Sunday will be dry as well in many places but rain will move in from the west later on.”People watching at home got a good few laughs from the broadcast, but they also applauded him for his professionalism.
