Bryan Murray and Una Crawford O’Brien opened up about their personal life together on the show TommyTiernanShow
RTE viewers had a giggle tonight as Fair City stars and real-life couple Bryan Murray and Una Crawford O’Brien appeared on the Tommy Tiernan Show.As Bryan and Una sat down, Tommy asked: "What went wrong in your careers that you ended up in Fair City?"Viewers were shocked at the cheek but couldn't help laughing at his directness."Has Tommy Tiernan always been this rude or...?" questioned another.
They took the question in good humour though, as Una replied: "But you don't you see, because you can do the others in between. You can still do the plays, you can still do the musicals and you can still be part of the family of Fair City." The couple also opened up about Bryan's Alzheimer's Disease diagnosis, which he went public with last year.
Bryan was diagnosed with the condition, which affects his short-term memory, three years ago and had kept the news to close friends and family.Viewers were moved by their honesty and showed their support for Bryan and Una. "Bryan Murray is a living legend. An absolute gentleman and has a brilliant sense of humour. Such a horrible disease. Best of luck on your brave journey with Una. The entire nation has you in our thoughts and prayers," wrote one viewer.Another said: "Beautiful & really honest interview from Bryan Murray & Una Crawford O'Brien.
