Runaway llama stops traffic on the M55 leaving drivers bemused
Police and highways officers were called after a llama ran onto the M55 at junction three, near Wesham. The incident happened on Wednesday evening and was captured on video by a parent.
It resulted in queues leading up to the motorway shortly after 9pm. National Highways helped shepherd the animal to safety and it is now know how the llama ended up on the busy road.BBC journalist Molly Brewer was sent the video and shared it on Twitter. She said: "Parents just sent me this through… they say a llama has been on the lose near the M55 junction 3 causing tailback traffic.
