The struggling Saskatchewan Rush have fired head coach Jeff McComb with four games left in their NLL regular season.
with four games left on their schedule. General manager Derek Keenan, who stepped down as head coach prior to this season and turned it over to McComb, will now work as an associate head coach alongside Jimmy Quinlan.
The 40-year-old Quinlan, a former Rush player and longtime assistant coach, will take over on a full-time basis when the current season ends. He’s currently the team’s offensive coach, and the Rush will find somebody else to fill that role in the off-season.
