EXCLUSIVE: Russell Martin's Southampton appointment delayed over compensation disagreement with Swansea
Russell Martin's move to Southampton is being delayed because of a disagreement over when they officially become a Championship club.1Credit: Getty
Martin has already agreed a three-year contract with the south coast side. The two clubs are working on a compromise deal.in May that the Swansea boss was the leading candidate to replace Ruben Selles at Southampton. Martin will be Southampton's fourth permanent manager within the space of 12 months following Ralph Hasenhuttl, Nathan Jones and Selles.
