TV icon Ruth Langsford made a defiant return to social media after Eamonn Holmes was photographed on holiday with his new girlfriend.
Ruth, who was reportedly more of Eamonn's "carer than his wife" during the last few years of their marriage, is yet to comment on his new relationship. However, after the snaps of the Northern Irish presenter were released, she took to Instagram with a four-word message of independence. Her post comes after Eamonn was papped portside on his mobility scooter alongside Katie, as they made a break for the Spanish sun. The father of four moved out of the house he shared in Surrey with Ruth, shortly after they announced their shock split in May - and Katie was regularly seen visiting him in his rented London home.
