The experienced presenter, aged 64, has been a staple on the ITV programme since its inception, reports the Mirror. However, following the announcement of her separation from husband Eamonn Holmes, also 64, it's understood that Ruth will be 'stepping back' from her hosting duties.
Eamonn, on the other hand, is reportedly preparing to open up about his second divorce upon his return to GB News. An insider claimed that the broadcaster is aware that viewers are eager to hear his perspective and he won't avoid discussing it. A friend of the couple has spoken about how Ruth Langsford has had to take on more of a carer role for her husband, Eamonn Holmes, due to his ongoing health issues. They revealed: "Ruth has become more his carer than a wife. Eamonn has been thoroughly miserable. He has had a torrid time with his health, he's in constant pain, and the truth is he can't contain how miserable it makes him," according to MailOnline.
