Ruth Langsford will return to ITV's Loose Women on Monday for the first time since announcing her split from Eamonn Holmes
Ruth Langsford is returning to Loose Women on Monday after two months away due to her split from husband Eamonn Holmes .
A friend of Ruth, who was last on the ITV show in April, said: "It has been a tough few weeks but now she feels it is time for her to get back to Loose Women. It is a job she loves doing and even though the split has been very tough, life must go on. Eamonn has continued to work at GB News in recent weeks and has not discussed his impending divorce on screen. He even did an extra show on Sunday with Anne Diamond and posted on social media what a "pleasure" it was, alongside a photo of him and Anne with him still wearing his wedding ring.
Another said they hoped he was feeling better and he replied by saying: "Trying." Ruth was left devastated last month by the discovery he is being consoled through the split by another woman. Relationship counsellor Katie Alexander, 42, has been on a number of outings with the GB News presenter in the past 12 months as well as being pictured at his home.
