A tense exchange between Ryan Tubridy and Kevin Bakhurst hours before the RTE boss ended negotiations with the presenter has been revealed.
However, RTE sought clarification regarding an added line to the statement, which read: “It is also clear that my actual income from RTÉ in 2020 and 2021 matches what was originally published as my earnings for those years, and RTÉ has not yet published its top-10 earner details for 2022.” “You have requested clarification of our client’s statement: ‘It is also clear that my actual income from RTÉ in 2020 and 2021 matches what was originally published as my earnings for those years.’
