Flicking through the morning papers, Tubridy said maybe it was time for another 'PK' to take over
With just three shows left, the 49-year-old Dublin native has been casting his eye on who is set to take over his seat, as Paddy Power suspend betting on the race after an 'explosion of bets' were placed on Patrick Kielty.
He described Kielty, who presents a BBC morning radio show as a "good egg all round," adding that he will "see where it all goes." Tubridy was in essence, repaying compliments paid to him by 52-year-old Kielty, who, at the Irish Film and Television Awards said the Late Late Show was "one of the best shows on the planet."
