The moment Shane Lynch told Ryan to shove an old clip of Boyzone dancing up his hole is iconic at this stage
Ryan Tubridy has opened up about the infamous moment Boyzone star Shane Lynch hit out at the Late Late Show host for playing the iconic clip of the boyband's first RTÉ performance.
While the singer missed out on a chance to perform with the lads due to getting delayed in traffic, he was able to join them for a chat with Ryan afterwards about their reunion.However, things took a turn for the worst when Ryan pulled up the legendary clip of the boy band’s first-ever TV performance in 1993, where no singing takes place and the group dances to Club House, Light My Fire.
While on his radio show, Ryan said: “He's had enough. The time he came on the Late Late Show in 2018, he had enough that night.“We sat down and chatted. I was asking him about the clip when Boyzone were dancing around.”“What I didn't realise was Shane didn't like the clip and I didn't realise he didn't want the clip being played,” Ryan explained.Despite this, everything ended up okay and no hard feelings remained between the pair.
