It's been claimed that RTE star ryantubridy and his agent Noelkelly are to meet executives to discuss TV and radio options
Ryan Tubridy is apparently set to fly to the UK later this month to explore his future career options, it has been reported.
Ryan remains off air on his regular Radio 1 programme while talks continue surrounding the RTE pay controversy.“UK broadcasters wouldn’t care in the slightest about controversy going on in Ireland with Ryan," the Sun reports today. It went on: “Things are different in Britain. Audiences do like Ryan Tubridy and he does his job very well. Ryan has not made any decision about his future with RTE. He remains off air."He’s not going to wait around for months while RTE decides what to do.
However, Ryan himself previously ruled out a potential move, explaining that he has "no real hunger" to move abroad, as he wants to stay near his daughters. This comes after solicitors for the RTE talent and his agent were in touch with Oireachtas Media Committee chair Niamh Smyth to offer their full cooperation and assistance with the committee’s investigation, according to the Irish Times.
