News Ryanair ‘welcomes’ probe from Italian competition authority over travel agent feud
Ryanair said it “welcomed” a visit to its Dublin HQ from the Italian competition authority, which is collaborating with the Irish Consumer and Competition Protection Commission . The authorities are collaborating on a investigation into the airline, brought by online travel agents . The airline said it was “happy to fully co-operate” with the investigation into what it termed its “successful campaign to prevent digital piracy and consumer overcharging by Italian OTAs”.
