South Australia will ditch travel restrictions for fully vaccinated travellers from New South Wales and Victoria but will continue to ban quarantine-free travel from Byron Bay.

Every single Local Government Area across NSW and Victoria has reached an 80 per cent double-dose vaccination rate except Byron Bay.

Mr Marshall pointed out Byron Bay was the only LGA to have not reached the 80 per cent milestone but admitted they were “only just below” the target. An entry check form will also need to be completed and those who have not been vaccinated will need to quarantine for 14 days. “We are good to go. We’ve made all the necessary precautions, now we need to have Australians continue to get vaccinated as we head towards the end of year.”

“There won't be a requirement for testing the people coming from those LGA's that have got above 90 per cent.
