100 apartments to be built on site of landmark Morton's pub in South Dublin suburb of Firhouse
A historic and landmark Dublin pub, which featured in the season one finale of RTE ’s hit crime drama Love/Hate , is set for demolition.
Morton’s The Firhouse Inn was established in 1963 but there’s thought to have been a tavern on the site stretching back to the turn of the 1800’s. It sparked over one hundred comments with many expressing sadness at the end of an era for the locality.
