Local residents passed on their condolences
People living on a Radford street have spoken of their sadness after a man collapsed and later died. Police cordoned off Norton Street this morning as the incident unfolded.
Faraz Amar, a courier living on Norton Street, said: “It is obviously shocking and sad news, especially with everything else that has happened recently. I came out in the afternoon and there was nothing here, so the police must have left before then. It is unfortunate that it happened.”The cordon was near the Mellers Primary School. Faraz, 32, added: “Luckily, it is not a school day. That would have been traumatizing for the children.
Another resident, who wished to remain anonymous, said police cars and an ambulance ‘flew’ past in the morning. She said: “I did not pay any attention at first.
