Residents 'never feel in danger'
Families living in the 'safest area of Nottingham' have told of their life in the neighbourhood where firefighters, police and ambulances are on the doorstep. People of Manor Road in Carlton said they 'never feel in danger' as they have emergency services stations just across the road.
The Carlton Ambulance Service is close by, elsewhere in Manor Road. Ms Hailes added: "You barely notice them, they are not loud at all. Julia Jones, another neighbour living on the same road, gave an example of just why living across the road from the fire station is so handy. The 53-year old-said: "I once dropped my keys through the drain.
