And officials from Sally Beauty couldn’t immediately be reached on Friday.Sally Beauty Supply, which sells hair color, hair care and nail supplies among other items, has 17 stores within a 50-mile radius of Harrisburg, according to the company website.
Sally Beauty Holdings owns Sally Beauty Supply and Beauty Systems Group and has more than 5,000 stores throughout the United States and Puerto Rico, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Chile, France, Canada, Mexico, Peru, Ireland, the Netherlands, Spain, and Germany. Sally Beauty Supply has more than 3,700 stores.
The company also announced it was closing two of its smaller distribution centers, and said it was “transferring volume to larger, more efficient distribution centers.”last month that it is closing a distribution center at 210 Industrial Park Road in East Norweigian Township near Pottsville on or about Dec. 16 and 57 people would be laid off.
