This year's An Post Irish Book Awards saw a variety of authors and books recognized, including Sally Rooney for Non-Fiction Book of the Year, Graham Norton for the Lifestyle Book of the Year, and Johnny Sexton for Sports Book of the Year.
Sally Rooney , Graham Norton , Johnny Sexton , Jane Casey , and Paul Howard were among the winners at this year’s An Post Irish Book Awards . The Irish Times described Rooney’s book as an “utterly engaging, fearless and acute memoir.” It won the Non-Fiction Book of the Year award, beating Conor Niland’s memoir about tennis. Niland won the William Hill Sports Book of the Year.
Other winners included Molly Nic Céile for the Lifestyle Book of the Year and Gearóidín Nic Cárthaigh for the Children’s Book of the Year
