HAPPENING TODAY: A Ukrainian-owned cheesecake shop in San Antonio is once again offering a helping hand to the Ukrainian Armed Forces by donating its sales today.
Laika Cheesecake and Espresso
, located at 4718 Broadway, will be selling cheesecakes and stickers at the Pearl Farmers Market from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. The shop said on social media that it will cover all production costs, which include purchasing ingredients and labor to make the products, so all of its sales will go toward helping Ukraine.to Ukraine’s army and customers lined up for hours for multiple days to support the cause.“In February the whole city answered our call and showed up to express enormous support.
